Montreal Beer Festival

From June 6-10, the Montreal Beer Festival will provide endless ways to enjoy beer. Whether you prefer to drink in a pool, while eating appetizers, or while chatting with the brewers themselves, the festival has something for everyone. Learn how beer is made and how it is best served at this annual festival that has attracted thousands from across Canada for 19 years.

Drinking beer has never been so fun. This year, the Montreal Beer Festival offers patrons several unique ways to enjoy their alcoholic beverages. Food, like alligator soup and kangaroo burgers, will be served for all those willing to take the risk. Others may choose to participate in a variety of games, including mini disk golf tournaments, beach volleyball, and silent dancing. After a couple of drinks, these fun-filled activities will surely be entertaining.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, to Saturday, June 9, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 10. Admission is free but a tasting glass costs $9. Come out and enjoy some of Canada’s finest beers. Remember to consider taking a cab home or using Montreal’s public transit system when leaving the festival.

FrancoFolies

FrancoFolies returns for its 23rd year to inspire the Montreal community through concerts featuring over 1,000 singers, songwriters, and musicians from a variety of countries. Reviewers call the event “simply enchanting” a “cultural statement” and “more than a festival.” Come see what the buzz is all about in the heart of downtown Montreal from June 7-16.

Being the largest festival of French-language sound in the world has attracted international and local artists to the FrancoFolies stage. Female leads like Rose and international artists like Bassekou Kouyate each provide their own voice to the kaleidoscope of musical talent.

An array of on-site food services will be available to those in attendance in addition to wine and other alcoholic beverages. Tickets can be purchased at the Metropolis Box office for $26.00 and up. Tickets sell out fast, so buy soon and don’t miss out on this spectacular show.
