Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour
Cirque du Soleil captures the essence of the legendary artist, Michael Jackson, through a fusion of music, dance, visuals, and acrobatics in "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour." Coming to Montreal this March, the world famous show is not to be missed, and going, as Jackson said, is as "easy as 1-2-3."
As record producer Barry Gordy claims, Michael Jackson is “the greatest entertainer that ever lived.” Thus, in order to create a worthy tribute to this pop star, directors of the Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour” completed tremendous amounts of research. Critics around the globe can testify that the masterpiece they created is sure to leave the audience in awe.
The two-hour long show features many of the quintessential elements of Cirque du Soleil including stunning acrobatic acts, visuals, and dancing. However, it also combines the celebrated choreography and music that led to Jackson’s rise to fame. Audience members will be intrigued by the elaborate costumes and jaw-dropping acts that compose this world-famous tour de force.
Tickets can be purchased online from $68 to $196. The show will make a brief stop in Montreal from March 20th -22nd and again July 6-7th, so be sure to purchase tickets before they sell out. Cirque du Soleil has proven that although Michael Jackson may be gone, his music is immortal, and what a better way to spend the weekend than with a legend.
