Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition
The Montreal Science Center hosts the Star Wars Identities exhibit this winter that examines the unforgettable characters of the movie series and the components of human identity. This traveling exhibit won't be here for long, so stop by to find out what forces shape you.
How can Luke and Anakin grow up on the same planet, share the same genes, yet be such different people? Through a behind the scenes look at the Star Wars saga, researchers and analysts at the Montreal Science Center seek to answer these questions and more at the Star Wars Identities exhibit this April. Both children and adults will enjoy looking at the timeless movie series like never before.
Visitors can view a collection of props, models, and artwork from the Lucasfilms archives, including a Darth Vader costume, Millenium Falcon model, and a life-size podracer. Through this interactive exhibit, attendees will learn not only about the movie, but also themselves as scientists explain the social, genetic, and environmental processes that compose human character.
The Exhibit will run from April 19th to September 16th, 2012. Tickets can be purchased online for $13 for kids and $23 for adults. Tickets to the exhibition also include general admission to the museum. For any fan of the Star Wars series, this event should not be missed.
May the force be with you.
